This is driving me nuts. I have kids trying to learn math facts and I would love to remember the game I used to play in elementary school that helped me.

I thought the game was called Sonic but Google is not pulling up anything.

This would have been on the Apple IIc, 5.25 floppy disk around 1987-1988. The game would show math facts for a period of time. Your progress was shown on a big grid where each box was either all or partially filled in depending on how fast you answered each question. The goal was to get all the boxes in the grid completely filled in to advance to the next level.

I know not much of a description but the grid tracking was pretty distinctive in my opinion. You'd have the box all filled in if you answered it correctly quickly, partially filled if you answered correctly but not fast enough, or an x if it was wrong.

Thanks for reading!
