Move the screen down a little bit and it retracts to a smaller heading.

Yea I see that but it’s pointless and looks stupid when the person at the other end of the room can read the text on my screen

While we’re on the same page, how can we remove the Status Bar? It just takes up space

C’mon dude, this is iOS, you can’t just remove interface elements you don’t like

Maybe we can’t turn it off but can we at least change the size of the heading text ? If iOS supports changing text size smaller and bigger - then this should at least change heading size - but it doesn’t.

it's endlessly frustrating that apple doesn't let us customize anything. i miss my jailbreaking days, when my iphone was MY iphone... i like ios 11, but still wish we had more options.
[doublepost=1505685279][/doublepost]it IS pretty severe...

yes you can, remove contact photos in messages is one example, or did they remove that option in iOS11?

I find these headings ridiculous.

I have just opened the messages app.

I KNOW I'm inside the messages app - I do NOT need a massive banner telling me I'm inside the messages app!

The thought process behind the design is stupid. I don't need to be reminded which app I'm in. Settings, music, messages etc etc

I don't have dementia. I know which app I'm using for ***** sake.

What a complete waste of screen space. :rolleyes:

I went back to iOS 10.3.3 :/
