I've got a plug in iPod adapter connected to my Pioneer car stereo that charges the iPod and plays the audio through the aux2 source on the head unit. I've ordered the 3Gs, but I've already plugged a friend's 3G into the adapter and the dreaded message that its not an authorized accessory or whatever came up on the 3G. Can any really smart tech person tell me a way that I can fool the 3Gs or wire the plug up or whatever to get my soon to be 3Gs to charge and play in my car. Thanks

when you get this message:
Not_for_iphone.jpg

can you press "no" and continue work as usual ?
if so, you can ignore this message.

edit: you can also try this solution:
