tvOS 14.6 broke AirPlay audio from MacBook Pro

Updated Apple TV to tvOS 14.6 on Monday afternoon and now it seems I can’t AirPlay audio from my MacBook Pro (running High Sierra) to it. Tried several times and no audio comes out. Discovered this issue hours later on Monday night. Last time I used this feature successfully was last Friday.

Restarted MacBook & Apple TV, no fix.
Per Apple's suggestion, I made a new account & tried to AirPlay audio only, no fix.

I can AirPlay audio from my iPhone, works fine.
I can AirPlay video (with audio) from the MacBook to the Apple TV, works fine.
I can mirror the display from the MacBook to the Apple TV (with audio playing), works fine.
Again, the only issue seems to be when trying to AirPlay only audio from the internal speakers to the Apple TV.

Anyone else with this issue?
