Apps tvOS Missing App Store

I have been searching all over this site and cannot find a thread on it. My older Apple TV in the living room now has about 60 apps on it. Many of them were never there before. On top of this, the App Store is gone, so I cannot download YouTube TV onto this older Apple TV. Is this just an older Apple TV thing or am I missing something?
