Twitch video randomly pauses on Safari.

Hello, for a while now I've been having an issue with watching videos on Safari with Twitch where after watching a video for a bit, the video will randomly pause playing and show a black screen. I will need to click play to start the video again. This happens with both live and pre-recorded videos.

This issue also happens when VPN and extensions are disabled. Along with it happened in Firefox but has not happen yet on the DuckDuckGo browser.

Has anyone else had this issue happen to them?

• Computer: Mac mini M1 (2020) 14.4.1
• Safari: Version 17.4.1

Issue on Twitch's end. Either use a different platform such as YouTube (if the creators you watch stream there), or a browser that still works, like Chromium-based ones?

You should also report the bug to Twitch...
