Typing on an iCurve?

I was thinking about buying an iCurve (or something similiar) for my Powerbook G4 12in to help keep it cool. But, I don't have an external keyboard, nor do I want to put down the cash for one right now. I saw on Griffin's website that you "can" type on an iCurve, but I was wondering if anyone had actual experience typing on an iCurve or similar product. Is it realistic to do this long term?

It's *really* uncomfortable.

Apple Pro Keyboard is what? $29? Money well-spent, believe me.

hi,

I have an iCurve myself. but it's no good to type without external keyboard. arms get sore after a while.

There are some other options to keep your laptop cool and you'll still be able to type with ease.

Podium pad is probably more along the lines of what you are looking for, i think the iCurve would be much to high to type comfortably on.

I have my 12" on an iCurve, and usb apple keyboard and BT mouse. I love it all.

Have never typed on the iCurve, well on occassion but it is not a good thing.

Macally Ice Pad. I'm typing on it now on my iBook. Also used on my Tibooks. Saved my wrists from carpal tunnel.
