Ordered mine with the delivery date set for Friday but by the time the Barclays financing went through it's looking like Monday-Wednesday next week. Heres hoping it gets bumped up somewhere along the line!

Interesting to see there were some Friday dates for the UK! Mine went straight to 24th - 28th and now just says 28th.

44mm Space Grey, no cellular with a Navy Solo Loop due by the 28th and a blue Braided Loop on back order for November sometime.

Am trading in my Series 4 Cellular.

I think the band matters a lot. I ordered a Nike one with a grey sport loop and it was 24-28 but then saw a black sport band Nike Watch would arrive ok the 18th so went with that and cancelled the other!

Secured a price with music magpie yesterday for my Series 3 before they slashed the price by a third this evening . Going to try eBay too as I may get more there (think the £1 selling fee offer should be upcoming this week)

MusicMagpie quoted me £285 last week for a 44mm Aluminium S5, so locked it in for 30 days. Scarily only offering £170 on their site now though.

As @TorontoSS mentioned it’s likely down to our choice of sport band. Perhaps Apple has set a larger allocation of this configuration aside for day one

Figured it’s time to upgrade my SSSB Series 3. Be interesting to see how this new woven solo loop fits. Don’t really fancy having to return the entire thing if the sizing isn’t comfortable. Fingers crossed!

Said 25th to 28th when I ordered but now it's slipped to the 28th.

Same watch and strap combo as last year and it's £20 cheaper.

The sizing and comfort thing has crossed my mind too. The idea of bands with no mechanism is really appealing though so I’m looking forward to getting a couple to try out.

I went for the Series 6 GPS, 44mm Space Grey Aluminium with Black Sport Band. I usually get the Silver Aluminium, so this will be a nice change. I think it will look great with my Surf Blue Sport Loop. Delivery is supposed to be this Friday.

Bit sad that it won’t be here on Friday but looking forward to this! Upgrading from a S4, had a lot of health issues lately so blood oxygen monitor on my wrist will be great

It will be a shame not to have them accompanied by a new iPhone, but excited nonetheless. I spent too much time wrapping my head around the new models by which time many were out of stock, so went with the gold rather than wait for the graphite. Roll on Friday!

I managed to get Friday delivery. The only configuration I could get for Friday delivery (i ordered within minutes of the store going up) was with a white sport band. Very excited!

mine was exactly the same only 3 minutes after the apple store app re-openned

Ordered by first ever SS Apple Watch. Will replace by aluminium S4 that has served me nicely for a couple of years!

Placed an order at 19:14, figuring out what size loop to go for was a bit of a spanner in the way of the rapid checkout I was after.

Woke up to a nice big “DECLINED” notification from Apple Pay as the bank suspected it was fraud ??‍♀️ thankfully my lead time didn’t slip as a result of updating the payment info, like it would have done several years ago!

Payment was taken earlier this morning, so fingers crossed it arrives on Friday and not the 28th.
