iPhone 6(S)/Plus Un-synching phones

I replaced my 6S with an SE earlier this year. I want to use my old phone as an MP3 player to listen to podcasts while exercising.

I added podcast links on the 6S Safari browser, but didn't realize it was also adding them to my SE, and I don't want them there. Both phones are hooked to my home Wifi.

How do I un-synch the browsers?

Settings -> Podcasts -> Sync Library

It didn't work, they're still synched. I'm just trying to un-synch browser favorites between the phones.
