I have an iPhone Xs, with iOS 16.0.2, which is my dad's, and an iPhone 12 pro max with iOS 16.0.2 which is mine.

I am unable to toggle the show caller ID switch in settings on both phones. I just get a spinning wheel.

I have restarted both phones, switched on/off airplane mode and wifi.

I want to be sure when I call his phone, that my name appears so he will now it is me. I have silence unknown callers on.

I have T-Mobile pre paid plans on both phones.

I also do get lots of calls and texts from unknown senders, so I have them both set to accept only known callers, and I have a contacts list set up.

Right now, known callers (ones from my contacts list) show their caller ID when the phones ring, so I think it is set to show caller ID, but I would like to have that option working properly so I have full control, and now what is going on.
