While editing a contact (syncs via iCloud) on my MBP (High Sierra) I somehow deleted it. I quickly went to the Edit menu and selected 'Undo Delete Card', but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. Checking my other devices -- iPhone and iPad -- sure enough, the contact has been purged from those too. Finally, I logged into the icloud.com via Safari and verified that the contact is gone there as well. I *really* want/need this contact card back. I had very important notes stored therein.

EDIT: I just discovered under Settings in icloud.com, an Advanced section that included:
Restore Files
Restore Contacts
Restore Calendars
Restore Bookmarks

I clicked on 'Restore Contacts' and it produced a list of what appears to be snapshots of my contacts, including earlier this a.m. I'm attempting to use this mechanism now. *fingers crossed*

EDIT2: Actually, that worked! It took a while, but *whew* -- what a life-saver.
