iPad Unflagging all emails

I had two phantom flags I couldn't make go away. I went on forums and tried the fix they all said worked beautifully. First I flagged everything and then was told to unflag everything. Found out that was for ios6. Now I've got like 16,000 flagged emails (I guess everything on all computers) and can't unflag them. Help!

I got it to work. Apple made this so tough! Sorry everyone!

Yes, please say how you did it. I had the same problem and the only way I could get rid of the flagged email ( although the flagged folder was empty ) was to delete the email account and reinstall it.
