I like the wood look ones as well. If they are real wood, though, I'd imagine they aren't dishwasher safe, which effectively cancels my interest, (lazy).

How do you use the knife part, and how does it not slice your mouth open?

I suppose the knife part is on the side and I guess you just have to be careful not to cut the side of your mouth open. I doubt its that sharp tho. I'm yet to use or to find one of these in the wild.

Some of them can definitely get up to that. They have other ones that are deemed 'sushi' knives, but could be used for multiple reasons like carving, etc.
