I got a new liftmaster garage door opener and I'm reluctant to pay $70 for Liftmaster specific bridge.
is there any universal homekit bridge that I can use or any other alternative to manage my garage door opener thru homekit?

Look into Homebridge. It runs on Raspberry Pi.

Is $50 more enticing? These work great in HomeKit and easy to install. Had them on two openers for a couple years and pleased with the results. Only issue was battery didn’t last long. Maybe a couple months before they needed to be replaced. CR 2054 IIRC. Why do you seek a universal bridge? Bridges are usually manufacturer specific.
