Unknown files appeared in Home folder - see screengrabs

Opening my home folder this morning and found a load of greyed out unknown files with weird names and dates. Also my Library and Trash folder is greyed out although I can open them.

Please can anyone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them. See screengrabs attached. Many thanks.

Those are invisible files. Maybe you pressed cmd-shift-. by mistake. Press it again and they will go be to being invisible.

Many, many thanks for your speedy reply and instant solution. I've been using macs for years and never seen this before. Pressed the keys and they disappeared! Thanks again.
