My friend has recently bought an iPhone from another friend, which was unlocked. She uses an O2 PAYG sim card, and so far it's working perfect! The only problem is, it's on Software Version 1.1.2, and she really wants all the new features in 1.1.3 and 1.1.4. If I restore it, would I be able to use ZiPhone to unlock and jeailbreaking it on 1.1.4 without bricking it?
Basically, I'd like to know the best way to get from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4 without bricking it, then unlocking it + jailbreaking it easily, and also what program would be best to use (Windows or OS X is fine).
