Hi folks,

I wonder if any software exists to do the following.

I have a number of directories, and each directory contains a multi part RAR file.

At the moment, I'm going into each directory manually and using BetterZip to open the multi part RAR file and drag the uncompressed file out.

Does anything exist that will allow me to do all this quickly and easily?

Effectively I want to point it at the top level directory, hit 'go' and a few minutes later, end up with all the uncompressed files in a single place?

Thanks.

well you could use "The Unarchvier" which just expands archives, rather than showing you the contents to extract.

You could then use say "Find" in the finder, to identify the first file in each directory, and select all the results, and then right click, "open with the unarchiver"
