Apple Music Unwanted volume clipping using Apple Music app

I listen to a lot of metal and hard rock and notice several times per song a jarring and noticeable drop and rise in volume when I’m using the Apple Music app. It doesn’t do it with Tidal so I’m assuming it’s an Apple thing. I’ve double and triple check I have no auto volume limiting or EQ enabled. This has all started with iOS 14 and I wish I could go back to 13. Has anyone else been living with this?
I’m using Bluetooth with my Sony XM3 headphones and have an iPhone 11 Pro. I also notice when I’m listening to music in my truck via Bluetooth. Any insight is appreciated.

Thought it was my imagination, noticed it also using Apple Music on my M1 MBP using PBP headsets. Doesn't do it in Spotify, I wouldn't know about Tidal as I don't use that.
