Until Apple decides to release the software update that will hopefully fix my iMac's crashing problems when running BF2142, I wanted to explore the possibilities of unwrapping the cider BF2142 and running it either on my PC or on my mac running bootcamp.

I got all the files unwrapped and placed in their appropriate folders. The games runs great with no crashes in SinglePlayer mode. My only problems is that the game does not ask me to enter my game key and as such I'm unable to run it in multiplayer games. I noticed that in the mac installation, a text file called cdkey.txt (if I recall) is located in one of the folders, however, copying this file and placing it in Window's game folder doesn't work.

Has anybody gotten a similar set up to work, and if so, where would you put the cdkey.txt file? Is there another way of doing this.
