I'm normally running Mojave from external boot drive.
When booting from internal, cs6 updates seems to happen.
With external it looks like this:

Meaning it uploads the updates, but doesn't install them?
(All apps are X.0.0 versions.)
Is there a workaround?
Or should I just copy updates apps from internal to external?

As I don't use Adobe CC and that version of Creative Cloud desktop app, I can't replicate the issue. Maybe it would work to click on 'All apps' and then choose 'Other versions' from the three-dots icon:

Some time ago, I read that Adobe doesn't serve CS6 apps anymore, but I wasn't able to find a recent reference on that.

So Calif
My CS6 does not work with High Sierra and up - 64 bit OS required - not optional in the past....

My iMac is left at Sierra OS to allow CS6 to work...

I agree that CS6 (perpetual desktop license) works quite well on mac OS Sierra and even better with older macOS versions. Nonetheless, I'm running CS6 on macOS Mojave. The most annoying errors could be prevented by utilizing HFS+ instead of APFS, but I'm still experiencing some more critical bugs on a MBP 2019 that I'll continue to keep an eye on. The 64-bit app only problem just applies to macOS Catalina and higher. That might be different for the slightly different CS6 version of CC subscription.

I have CS6, but haven't installed it yet, but am running CS5.5 on Mōjāv 10.14.6 just fine. It's not until Catalina that apps HAVE to be 64bit. So all this will run on everything up to and including Mōjāv. Photoshop 5.1 is 64bit. But Dreamweaver 5.5 and Illustrator 5.1 are 32bit. But they're working fine in 10.14.6 . . .
