Resolved Updating from ML to Mavericks GM ?

Hi guys,

Is it possible to update from ML to Mavericks using the GM build ?

I mean, is using a Mavericks GM bootable usb drive could update and keep my installed softwares on ML ? Or will Mavericks GM installer format my HDD and reset my system so I will need to reinstall all my softs ?
