Resolved Updating via Terminal question

Hello Forum,

if I type in terminal:

softwareupdate -da --include-config-data

it downloads and Installs the the packages but I can not deploy them

The location /Library/Updates is empty.

What I need is to download ONLY the packages in order to save them in a USB stick and install them in other MBP's

What am I doing wrong?

In Mojave with the command above works, but not in Catalina

Maybe try softwareupdate -l and then download the updates one by one with softwareupdate -d "macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Update"

Hello

I am not interested in Security Updates, I only want to download the current MRT and XProtect but it keep installing instead of only download in order to deploy them in macOS Catalina.

Also I can not find the final Gatekeeper (v181) for macOS Catalina direct download link from SUS, could you please share it? @tywebb13

Oh! Gatekeeper v181 is for macOS HS, macOS Mojave and macOS Catalina!!

I was trying to find something like GatekeeperConfigData_10_15.pkg for macOS Catalina!!! ?

I should get only package downloads in /Library/Updates right?

I still do not understand why softwareupdate -da --include-config-data is not working in macOS Catalina, like @bogdanw example ???
