Upgrade Apple Watch only to Beta software?

Hi everyone,
I have a spare Apple Watch where I'd really like to try the beta watchOS10. However, when trying to upgrade from phone it says to first upgrade the phone to the beta.
I don't want to do this as I don't have a spare phone. Anyone has a nice workaround for this?

No. The phone has to be updated too.
