iPhone 11 Upgrade from 11

Decision time.
Currently have an 11 but not sure whether to upgrade to 13 pro max or wait til the 14 pro max. I know the 13 maybe slightly cheaper which will end up swaying me and never had a pro before.
Last time I had a max phone was the 7 plus and loved the size.
I do love my photography and the telephoto lens on the pro max sounds good. But then not sure if the 14 will extend the lens.
Thoughts ?

Just buy what’s available now. It’s likely you’ve to get the 13 PM from telcos and authorised dealer as Apple will likely cease selling those in their stores.

I’m in Scotland the upgrades from o2. But thanks for the reply.

If you are after the Max for its big screen size, you could also consider 14 Max (not Pro), which should be equally large. If you are after the best camera setup, however, you could probably still get a 13 PM after iPhones 14 are released from O2.

I’d say wait for the 14 Pro. Unless you can get some screaming deal of $300 off a Pro or something. (Refurbished from Apple maybe?). Apple 12 Pro is refurbished right now from Apple. Check those out.

Even with discount though, it won’t matter if the photos disappoint on 13pro or 12 Pro. Some hate them, some are fine with them. Check the discussion in link below.

There are some pretty bad 13pro photos that use this over processed oil-painting “technique”. It’s really ghastly.

Wait out for the 14's release, we are mere 1.5 months away.

I have an 11 and 8. I upgraded the 8 to a 13. Now I have the 11 and 13 side by side. The 13 seems slightly smaller in width than than the 11. 13 is lighter by 20 grams as well.

And paid "dirt cheap" for it back 2 years ago (when the 12 came out) as a corp upgrade. I call it my 14 Plus. It's a brick and works great. 99% battery life still on mine. Not complaining

I just jumped from X to 14 Pro Max. It's a great upgrade.

...However, if I could've squeezed a bit more life out of the my old phone, I might wait for the 15 ProMax (Ultra). If they do indeed throw in USB-C and a 5x zoom lens, it'll be worth the wait.

I couldn't justify paying that kind of money for a phone. Cost of both my 11 and 13 doesn't even add up to the SE (not even close). LOL Especially when these toys are a 6 year cycle. Rinse and repeat.
