HELLO EVERYBODY,
I was about to try to buy the update Mac OS X version 10.6.3 Snow Leopard to update my current OS(Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger), but i noticed a warning on apple site about a update to tiger os that is installed on my mac mini, stating that i could encounter problem updating if my current software was a 3rd party instillation, i bought my Mac mini G4 Desktop 1.42GHz MODEL M9687LL/B with the OS installed, so if i do not have rights to it. So do I need to buy the latest mac os and just start fresh or does anyone know whither it will work?

thank you!!

thank you, i am a brand new Mac user, that info was very helpful!
I am still wondering if i will run into problems upgrading since my current software is 3rd party installed and i do not carry rights to it, will i only be asked for the key from the update i purchase or does it ask for any other product keys?:)
