Hi there guys, I'm trying to help my gf out by upgrading my old white 20" intel core duo imac from leopard to snow leopard.
I burned her a copy of SL 6.8.3 and she went thru the installation process like normal, however after it does the restart the upgrade window pops back up and keeps reperforming the upgrade over and over again.
I told her to force restart/shut down the computer and attempt to eject the disc before it tries to reinstall again.
Is it possible to do the upgrade by booting up thru the disc with the C button instead?
