My neighbor has a black book w/ Windows installed using boot camp and runs OSX 10.4 We need to upgrade to 10.6. I read where the boot camp for 10.4 was a beta- but he has had no issues with his windows side and it is very stable right now.
I have a few questions-
When we upgrade to SL will it even change anything on the windows side and how it currently runs?
Is there a risk of him losing his windows files or programs when upgrading to SL?
Will the most recent version of boot camp require us to reinstall or upgrade/update anything on the windows side?
Basically if this is a very straight forward process of upgrading I will help him with it. If boot camp or the windows side will require some attention I will direct him towards the local Apple certified store to do it.
