I've noticed this bug since iOS 8 launched. It seems if you just shot video with the camera roll and attempt to upload to YouTube, it will tell you "Wifi is required" even when you're on WiFi (my iPad is the WiFi-only model..)
But if you enter your photo gallery, it will allow you to upload to YouTube in HD from there.
Does anyone know of a fix so I can upload HD directly from my camera roll? It will upload SD fine but not HD.
