Hello,

What are-you using in order to connect jack on your iPad (with USB-C) ?
I checked on Amazon, there are some USB-C => USB-C + Jack adapter. It seems to be nice, but when I check the comment... I see that it doesn't work after few hours or can't use both at the same time.

I already have a hub (in order to connect a SD card) but without jack.

Best regards

I’ve bought and am using a number of them bought from Amazon (non-Apple brand, and with braided cord). Haven’t had any that stopped working and I use them 8+hours at a time.

THAT SAID, none of the third party adapters I’ve bought will adjust the volume on the headphones, if so equipped, forcing you to use the volume buttons on the device.

I also have a few of the Apple branded jack to lightning adapters spread around to use with my phone if needed.

If you’re using an adapter, I recommend only buying the Apple branded ones bought at an Apple Store or online directly from Apple. Too manny counterfeit items like these floating around on internet stores.

or, there are fine sounding Bluetooth headphones/earphones or buds to be had at reasonable prices.

I use the Apple-brand USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter (cheap) as a backup, and my primary/wireless solution is the Anker Soundsync Bluetooth Receiver (not so cheap). See below (images linked to Amazon).

I bought this for my new iPad Pro. It even works with High Resolution Lossless. It was only $39.99. It sounds pretty decent when I plug in my higher resolution wired in ear monitors.

Apple's is $9 and works with High Resolution Lossless, I believe.

Apple’s dongle only supports up to 24 bit 48K and will down sample everything High Resolution to 24 bit 48K. According to many, you won’t be able to tell the difference, especially with Apple’s ear buds. My dongle I bought supports 32 bit up to 384K and has the newer low power Cirrus Logic chipset.

I also have one of Apple’s dongles that I bought a while ago.
