I now have a Macbook Pro 2017 A1706 and it New to me this week. I like to know the Linux I now use that I use on a Windows 7. All I have to do insert the Linux USB in the Laptop ans turn on the power on in about 45 sec it up a running.

Can I do the same thing to the Macbook Pro? If so how, I know I might need the boot order. That what I had to do with other Laptop.

Yes. Also, if the Linux USB is not connected, the MacBook should start from the internal drive.
