Hi

I bought a used M1 mini from ebay and today out of curiosity I clicked on check coverage which took me to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ and pasted in the serial number and it said please enter valid serial number. Yes i double checked.

What does this mean?

Is this something I should be concerned about?

thanks

Oops, never mind. I tried a different browser and it is fine. D'oh!

Sorry to clutter the forum. Can I delete the thread?

Add the "Resolved" prefix, and then change the title to something like, "FIXED: Used M1 mini (from eBay) has serial number not recognized by check coverage." Personally, I'd advise against asking the mods to remove the thread, because you included the solution in your last post, which might be helpful for people having the same issue.

You could also edit the original post. Some people will put something at the bottom like. “Edit:…” and then put a short paragraph explaining whatever they wanted to update
