I own and operate a business for prep and college athletes and I film content during our training sessions. Was wondering if it would be a wise move to use an iPod touch with a Manfrotto tripod to film content or a GoPro using the same mount. I’m looking into a wide lens for the iPod but the Moment lenses aren’t compatible with the iPods that I’ve seen due to the lack of the special case. Any help would be appreciated

The new iPod touch uses an ancient camera (iPhone 5 era). You would be better off buying a used SE/6S, much better camera and more lenses as you pointed out are compatible with the iPhone.

Do you have any other Apple devices? It will be better if you use another smartphone for filming as the iPod usually have a poor image quality.

A Moment new would cost you almost as much as a used 6S (and up), and the quality will be better.

but maybe the GoPro is the better choice here.
