I am hoping some one knows how to access the repair/restore and boot manager using Mac Terminal rather than using the standard keyboard commands.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Terminal has man pages. Open terminal and enter:
man diskutil

[doublepost=1555471999][/doublepost]Using a new metal video card that is not an Apple sanctioned card does not offer the keyboard command options one would normally have eg. boot manager, restore and utilities.
if there is a recovery partion, you can go with cmd+r to boot into without bootscreen
and yes it takes some time and on some cMPs is nessesary to press the return button after 2 minutes
