Does anybody remember how to beat this game:

That is, Vampire Castle v7.0 by Dave Culbertson in approximately 1987 …

I've collected lots of interesting items and I'm standing in the last room, observing the sleeping vampire. I've tried pretty much everything, but haven't been able to kill him. What am I missing? I'm starting to suspect my copy of this game might be broken …

Ok, the game works fine and I managed to solve it now. I just hadn't thought of the correct final commands until now.
