Ok so a link popped up and it stated I can get the year free for Apple TV+.
I do not remember clicking the free trial how can I verify I have the free trial and that I am actively using it?
(I would presume by watching an TV show but I am not 100% sure)

Easiest way to see if you have the year or a weeks free trial, is to go to the AppStore, tap your user icon at the top right, then tap on Subscriptions.

You’ll see Apple TV+ there and if you have the full year, your next billing date will be the 1st November 2020.

If you didn’t activate the years free trial at the time, you should get the option to do so again when you go to view an episode in the TV app.

Update: So I accepted the 1 year free however I am not sure I had too...
I was able to watch the programs w/o paying however I think after accepting the trial the app works the same ?
Still have to buy content like before so some how maybe I was already “in” the app w/o a end time... and subscribing just not gave me the year end date possibly...
