My mom ruined her iPhone 6 with water on a walk in the rain. It shorted out for a bit but then started up again without issue. Now there's staining/streaking on the LCD under the glass, but the phone works well otherwise.
I've got her a 6(S) now, and Verizon estimated that they would pay $140 for the phone. Here's my question: does anyone else have experience with Verizon Trade-ins? I'm quite doubtful that she'll get $140 for the water damaged phone, but I just don't know.
