iPhone 13 Pro Max Verizon trade-in Preorder: Do you have to wait until day-of?

Trading my XS max and ordering through Apple. It’s not giving me an option to get ready for preorder.

do I have to just do it on the day of? Will I miss a launch day?

I’m in the same boat. As long as we are ready to put our order in at 5am PDT then we’ll be fine I think. But yes it seems like we have to wait until Friday to put our order in.

I am trading in my iPhone 11.
I'm going to have Verizon's site up and Apple's. I'll probably try Apple's first if it loads first but the last time I upgraded I had no issue using Verizon's website.
