-OpenShot ~ Won't Open

-iMovie ~ Renders Vvvvery Slow

-PowerDirector 365 ~ WaterMark

-Shotcut ~ Basic

-Adobe Premiere Pro ~ Paid

-Avidemux - Won't Open

-HitFilm Express - Graphic card

-VN Video Editor - can't find old version (please if you direct link share it)

- cap cut - can't find old version

Have you tried Movavi? If not, you definitely should give it a try.

I've been using it for basic stuff, and it's way faster. It even has some handy automated features like transitions, AI background removal, and color correction that have been working smoothly for me.

You can explore more about its features in this article: https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software-no-watermark.html. It doesn't render for hours like iMovie did in my case, so it might be worth a shot for you.
