I am trying to play FM synthesis under Virtual PC on windows 98 SE and XP, and the midi plays at half speed. Normal .wav files play at full speed. Is there a way to tell windows or virtual PC to play the midi file at 100% full speed outside of using a particular piece of software. I want to use them for some older games on DOS and windows that just so happen to run under virtual PC but the slowed down midi is almost a deal breaker.
