In the beginning, when I got the mac, I thought that I needed VPC, so I purchased it. But then I realized that was stupid. What was more stupid, is that I'm giving 15GB to the OS when I only use 2. So I decided to give 8 for the "just in case" scenario. But I dont know how to change it from 15GB to 8GB. I don't want to uninstall everything and then reinstall. Is there anyway...tried the Virtual Disk Assistance and theres nothing that it says I can change it....Do any of you know how?

oh btw, the drive is a dynamically expanding type and is FAT32

Sorry eric, dunno. I run VPC and when I set it up it defaulted to 16Gb BUT the actual size of the VPC file is (found in my user folder in the Documents/Virtual PC List folder) is only 2.1Gb.

It is W2K. I also set up an XP but it was too slow. File is still there and it's 1.6Gb

I believe it dynamically resizes as it requires more space. I'm also pretty sure it is a compressed file given the amount of stuff I've installed! :D

(That would also explain why file access is so ssssllllllooowwwww)
