I'm trying out the Xils Lab V+ vocoder plugin (and plan to purchase it with the current 30% discount) but can't figure out how to set it up in Garageband (10.3.5 under MacOS 10.13.6 High Sierra).
More specifically, how do I make the microphone work?
The mic is connected to my audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 1st. gen) and I've tested it working fine on a separate track in Garageband, but apparently I need to use a side-chain input with the vocoder. The user-manual for the plugin isn't very clear on how to do this other than "each DAW is different...", so basically I need to learn how/where the sidechain for a track's plugin is in Garageband?
