well it's very confusing. But anyhoo I rather wait till skype comes out it's only a monthly charge of $2.95 for us and Canada, and 9.95 a month for all international calls to like 20 countries.

Paying $0.06 per minute to a landline if I am on vacation is pretty nice.

Well not when your international. That is considered to be cheap, than paying roaming charges.
I wonder if it will display your phone number on caller IDs?
I know calling from skype it just shows up with a bunch of 0's.

I used Truphone for a year in my Nokia E65 through their free launch offer. Here's my take on it:
- exceptional voice quality compared to some other SIP services
- top notch customer service
- great, easy to use integration with Nokia devices
So why have I gone back to Skype on my Mac? Simple... their rates are some of the highest around! Just wasn't worth it. You can read about it in various threads here http://www.mobilevoipforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=49
Keep your eyes open for apps from Skype & iCall. But if you want to try Truphone, I really cannot complain at all about their service.

I'm waiting for iCall for the iPhone. I thought it would be in the app store straight off but seems not!
