VPN router question

I have a question

My phone and ISP are the same, got one of those cellular modems

My router is a nighthawk running DDWRT

My phone at home, connecting to the cell network directly (Wi-Fi off) is pulling 60 MBPS through the VPN

My Wi-Fi devices connected to my home network, which is running the same VPN service, and the router being plugged into a cellular modem with the same provider as my phone, 16MBPS

Suggestions?
