Just got a email saying I need to validate myself. Anyone else? I’ve never had this issue in my 10+ yrs of being a customer

Just got off the phone with them, and order is going through. What I find weird is they say they do it every so often to make sure. Well, being a customer for 10+ years, 3 lines, numerous upgrades, and this is the first time. She tells me I don’t need to worry about anything but I don’t believe it.

No one cares, but last update. Recently I had changed the name of my mothers line (long story) and with the name change and adding her as a manager to the account, it flagged for fraud.

The more you know. Hope this helps someone down the road. Good luck.

I had it happen with Amex. Ever since, whenever I make a time sensitive large purchase I call them ahead and tell them to let it go thru. But now, I use my Apple card for Apple purchases… doubt they would ever flag an appl purchase on an Apple card ;)
