here is my story

My iphone stolen, i picked up an iphone that has been discarded after deemed "wet and worthless"

But it works technically

i mean it turns on and let me restore and back up to my old iphone files

i believe i activated with my old number but i get the message, "waiting for activation" "it is going to take a while"

after 5 hours still same thing, this iphone = trash, the screen sensor doesn't work all the time. i am just trying to get through the month

thanks people

the wrong phone number appears in itunes even though i activated with the correct one, what else can i do?

OK, something new- it now says it needs a signal to activate, i have heard this before but no solution was mentioned

If someone else owned it you have to get a new sim card. simply putting your old one in will do nothing. But since yours was stolen you may have already got a new one. until u get a new sim the old number will show up in the summary section of itunes. Good Luck
