Anyone noticed since iPadOS 16 (I think) that the wallpaper depth effect doesn’t work anymore? I’ve tried a bunch of the built in wallpapers and downloaded a bunch. I’ve obviously enabled it and it doesn’t do anything like it used to. When I google about this, ALL of the results are about iOS.

It’s cuz Google knows better than you what you’re actually looking for.

But yes, the depth effect is also broken on my iPad Pro on 16.whatever the latest is.

Nope, it’s been busted since iPad OS 16 release. It’s pointless to have a button to enable it. Also the “dim wallpaper in dark mode” setting never works either except for the Apple wallpapers. Before iPad OS 16 it would always put a dark overlay on ANY wallpaper when dark mode was enabled. Not anymore. Ridiculous bugs as usual and very few people seem to care…
