Hi,

I want to set up my desktop wallpaper as my lock/login screen wallpaper. I have selected a wallpaper from the Mac gallery and have also checked the Caches folder where I have the same image but in blurred format and named as "com.apple.desktop.admin.png". However, my lock/login screen appears as a dark grey color background, but I see the wallpaper when I restart or switch on the computer.

Any advice how to resolve this issue?

Thanks.

Ok, I figured it out myself. You have to turn 2 things off - Transparency (Accessibility - Display) and file vault. Once you turn off file vault, you can set the wallpaper, and it will appear in the lock screen. You can turn on file vault after that, however, I faced a problem that after turning on file vault the wallpaper was locked in the lock screen. No matter if I changed the wallpaper on my desktop, the wallpaper on the lock screen remained the same.
