If you are still using El Capitan to retain use of software such as InDesign CS6 (in order to make a living), updating to iTunes 12.8.2.3 will disable features. For example, you will no longer be able to edit Start/Stop times in the Options panel. After an hour on the phone with Apple, I have been told the only way around this is to update the OS. Why Apple continues to prompt updates that disables features in order to force users to update to an newer OS version is beyond me. I have just about had it with Apple. But of course, they don't care. I've been a Mac user since 1994, but may never purchase another one of their overpriced products.

If anyone has a workaround for this, I would appreciate it. Apple just basically says tough luck. I would also appreciate info on any decent iTunes alternatives that still allow such editing in El Capitan. Thanks.
