I'm having an extremely hard time applying Warp Stabilizer to clips where either PrePro crashes completely or just takes on average 20/25min to analyze a clip. Is that normal when applying it to anything shot on the Lumix Lumix S5 Mark IIX, 4k, Long GOP, 59p?

This is my computer computer specs:
Macbook Pro
Apple M2 Max
96GB Ram
4TB Drive

Source Clip Properties:

It's Premiere Pro. Nuff said. One expects no less. The only NLE that is any more archaic and from yesteryear is maybe Avid.

Jesus... tell me about it. I feel like PrePro is just a dated tool for dusty old farts.

I don't have enough experience with Premiere Pro to help there, but if you want to rule out there being something wrong with the source video, you could try downloading the free version of Davinci Resolve or the Trial of Final Cut to see if the stabilizers in those NLEs struggle with the footage also.

I highly doubt it's the footage. There's no technical reason why footage should make an app crash on just one feature/operation, assuming it's corrupt, rather it is the operation itself. Therefore: it's the software.
