HomePod Way to set default sound output to speakers other than a HomePod?

I just got a HomePod Mini mainly to use as a voice controller for a Marantz Receiver and tower speakers. I want music to default to the tower speakers but haven't found a way of doing that. The best way I've found so far is to set the HomePod to one room (Living Room) and the Marantz to another (Lounge), and then tell the HomePod to 'Play music in the lounge'. But I would like to just tell it to "Play music" without needing to specify the room. Is this something I can set? I couldn't find where..
